Hola familia!
alright, so i got my travel plans, they are pretty intense. ok not really, but i am pretty excited. I leave tuesday morning at five in the morning from the MTC, on a bus to the salt lake airport, from there i have a flight at 8:40ish to boise Idaho, where i will be picked up by a church representitive the paper says, and then from there i will go drop of my luggage, and begin prosyliting. HOOrah! :) i will need a few dollars on my debit card for lugguge(around 100), and i will give the reciet to my mission prez and he will reimburse me, but other than that there is not a problem, just the suitcase that will be my carry on will have very little in it, i wont have to worry about my lugguge being over weight, i only have to worry about myself being over weight. :) they have this cookies and cream chocolate milk here that is incredibly addicting, they had it at byu and i drank that stuff all the time, but here where it is free it has almost become a vice :) a very fattening vice! anyway, on the flight will be me, my companion, a elder from another disrict who got reassigned there for lack of a visa, and an elder in our district for the same reason, elder frogley. but the problem with his story is he is from Boise, so basically he will see at least a few people he knows, which is kind of crazy but hey the lord must have some people planned for him there!
oh something else i was wondering if you could send me, not now because i am about to leave but maybe later when i am in the field, could you send me a pedigree chart? maybe you could ask jeremy to help me out with this, but yeah it was something apparently we were supposed to bring, and all the videos we watched here have peeked my inetrest. So if you could just send a pedigree chart, with maybe a story or to about some of our ancestors history please :)
Recently we had a sunday fireside that was pretty darn awesome, Elder Oaks daughter Jenny Oaks Baker came and spoke/played the violin for us, she was soooo good. she graduated from juiliards good, had a spot as first violinist on the US symphony or something craxzy aweosme. the music was just, i dont even know how to expain it aweosme. and then towards the end all of her 4 children from ages 5-10 played for us, well i dont remember the song, but it was the cutest thing ever and they were really good to so it was crazy awesome.
but yeah things in general at the MTC have been... well i would almost call it a general lull. we are still working like normal, which is a lot, but the teachers are out of material becuase we are about to leave and yeah there are times when i am not sure what to study or work on because we have no more pracitce investigators for much longer, so it isnt very "end in mind" centered. The nice part about this is i have gotten more time to read the scriptures, In the old testimant i have made it to job, in the new i have made it into mark (started yesterday) and in the BOM i finished and am to Mosiah again.
arg i have a little bit more time on the clock but i need to change my landry, not sure what i should do...
I can never seem to remember certain stuff i want to talk about, but hey that must mean it is not that important eh? so yeah that is really all that is going on here, Thanks for you emails i love you all so much!
Elder N. Keyes
