I havent recieved my travel plans yet, so i am unsure about the call, or whether I will be flying or taking a bus. thanks for sending me brandon's letter, i was wondering if i could get an adress to send actual mail so we could talk in spanish, it would be fun :) gah i feel like ther are some other things that i am forgeting before i start my letter, hopefully i remember before my thirty minutes are up.

> so yesterday i got to be a host for the new missionaries, it was a rather interesting expiriance seeing all the families crying and then giving you there baby to take care of with so much trust. i almost felt bad dropping them of at there class after getting them all their books and stuff. it was also weird becuase it wasnt anything like what i remembered getting ddropped off. I hosted six missionaries, and carried all of there stuff at 104 degrees all over campus and up flights of stairs. it was actually kind of nice getting a work out i suppose, although i think i smelled pretty bad by the end of it. three of the missionaries where going to california, and one of them to the san bernidino mission! yeah i dont remember his name, but he was a pretty cool elder from arizona, whose family was crying so much. i mean blubbering balling. he was the first one of all there family ever to go, so it was cool.

> other cool event of the week, i just got back from cleaning the temple. it was really awesome, I know that sometimes for some people it is kind of frustrating to clean the temple, because of how meticulous it is and how it already feels clean, but i was reminded of the fact that the reason we clean the temples isnt because they are dirty, it is to make sure they dont get dirty. although while i was cleaning things were a little bit different. a bunch of elders and myself were assigned to take out a section of wall that was like a raised plant thingy, i dont know what it was called, safe to say we got to use sledge hammers and shovels to move a bunch of concrete. after two months, it was really nice to get some hard labor going on, even though i am pretty tired and sweat soaked right now, i feel as though i have gained some of my manhood back :)

> so my district is now the oldest district in our zone, it is pretty weird, because we know that all the other districts are looking up to us. and the district under us is a lot under, usually it is about two weeks apart, this time they are four or five weeks under us, so yeah it is a bit more pressure because they are still new here. an interesting story that goes along with that is about the power of example. my district has always been super tight, and while we are not perfect, we have been appraised quite a bit by teachers and eccesiastical leaders. sometimes i fear it goes to our heads just a little. :) but what happened that was interesting, is that our distict always has a peticular spot at devotionals that we liked to sit, and just started sitting there automatically. it wasnt a thing in our zone to do that, everyone just trys to find a spot. well becuase we started doing that, all the districts under us started sitting around there too, just becuase we were. now it is a zone thing to sit there in the devotional room, and we didnt say anything to encourage it.

> so it is funny becuase Elder H*** and I see eachother all the time, in the cafeteria and around campus, which is super awesome. although we try now not to talk to much about home whenever we run into each other, becuase we found that it makes us a tad distracted. I also see everyone, well all the elders, from my old ward at byu, that is pretty interesting, two of the elders are in my gym times too. also there was an elder yesterday who was arriving who used to be in music connection with me, and i feel terrible becuase i cannot remeber his name for the life of me, but hey all is cool, i will probably see him again before i leave.

> anyway, that is all that is really going on up here, well of a secular nature, the rest is of a spiritual nature, and is pretty stinking awesome. hermano bartin blows us away pretty much on a daily basis. it is funny though because he usually reverts back to english by the end of the lesson, which you are not supposed to do, and it kind of makes us a little uncomfortable cause it is weird, but he said he would rather secceed at helping us come closer to Christ than secceed helping us with the langurse, and he wants to make sure we all understand everything...
