Hola familia! como esta??
Im doing great in the MTC, just was a bit of an adjustment... Hope brandon feels better!
ok, so here is the news:
first day: got here on time, got checked in and welcomed by everyone and their dog, it was pretty cool, a lot to process. i got my companion, Elder Wright, my teacher, Hermano Haynes, etc.  we listened to some awesome welcoming talks, did a few workshops, and got checked into my dorm. my dormates are Elder starks and Elder Fina'i, they are both really cool. my companion is a really cool guy from ****, real quiet, but i am starting to get him to warm up.

next few days: learned and worked A LOT! pretty much already fluent in spanish, no big deal. :) just kidding, but i have learned more spanish in this last week than in both years i took spanish. my P-day is on thursdays, so you can expect an email from me on that day.

the first day we taught a lesson was on the third day, in all spanish! it was muy deficial, but we did it. lets see, what else... i'll be sending some letters home today, you guys should get those... if i remember how to send mail right... i get thirty minutes a week on p-day to type, so this is all very rushed. next week i am going to right out my letter before i send it, so i dont forget anything. cause i just have the feeling that i am forgeting stuff right now, i just cannot remember it. oh well, i will live.

advice for all friends that are incoming to the MTC: make it till the first sunday. i have never had so much difficulting adjusting to a program than i did to the first few days, it was so crazy. they say there are two periods of time in the MTC, the first half a week from the wednesday you get here to that sunday, and the next nine weeks. they pretty much feel like the same amount of time. that wednesday, thursday, friday, and saturday were the longest days of my life, i can attest to that.

dear elder: if you guys want to put my dear elder info on facebook, that would be awesome... just explain that i can only email you guys, and i have to hand write anyone else... i forgot to bring pictures to the computer lab, so i will have to send those to you next week. can't think of much else, and i have about ten minutes...
so the MTC is pretty much the most awesome place in the world, its just astounding the spirit you feel here. This is really a place of the lord, where representatives are converted and trained to bring the gospel they love to the world. the spirit is so amazing when you have it, you can learn and do so much! i have never learned at such a quick rate, it is just an amazing thing.

so i have to go now, hope everyone is doing awesome at home, my email will be better next week!
Hasta Luego!
Elder Keyes
