hola familia! como estan?
so for some reason, it wont let me reply directly to your email, so i will just have to create a new email each time and try to remember what you said.
ok, here in the MTC, or as we call it aqui en la CCM... basically a spiritual party every day, no big deal. :) chiste, well it is spiritual party i guess, but that all depends on your interpretation of party... basically we have gym in the morning, i have really gotten into playing volleyball, especially when everone else there is as uncoordinated as i am. pretty funny, they also have some lifting stuff, got to keep some muscle mass and stuff. yeah, they also have a scale... *cough cough* and, uhh, ive gained a little weight since i got here. coming up on thirteen pounds since my arrival. so i thkn i am going to try and eat healthier now haha. after gym we have a sack breakfast, shower and then have class for three hours where we teach investigators (probably the most stressful part about being in the MTC) learn spanish, and learn how to be more effective missionaries and how to better fulfill our purpose in inviting others to come unto Christ. then we have study time, lunch, companion study time, and another class. then we have some more language study, get on this computer program that teaches spanish, then our daily planing session, and finally we return to the residence building twenty steps from our class to write in our journals and go to bed. and that is my average schedule, it varies a bit from day to day, but that is the gist of it. the devotionals here are on sundays and tuesdays are phenomenal, even though we havent had a memeber of the quorum of the twelve yet, they are still awesome. and later this month we should get a few of them , i am so excited. it is pretty funny, before the devotional, the chorister announces which song we will be singing, and everyone gets super excited if its a favorite, it is pretty funny.
lets see... oh yeah i see Elder harrell all the time, its pretty awesome, although what happens is we start talking about home a bunch, and then we get a little on the distracted side the rest of the day, so we are trying to avoid doing that. also, i see sister richardson from home everyday in the cafeteria, as well as rebecca who works in the cafeteria. it is pretty funny to see faces many more faces from home than i expected. on top of that there are a ton of Elders from my ward at BYU, as well as Elders from my chemistry classes. so i see someone i knew pretty much everyday... i always get that feeling i am forgetting something as i get lower on the amount of time i have, but never remember until later. maybe i will send a letter later detailing my forgetfulness. crazy to thkn that its already almost time for you to be up here. even crazyer to think i have almost been here for a month, it still feels like my first day. anyway, give everyone at home my love, the church is true, and so yeah have a wonderful week!
Nos vemos!
Elder Keyes
