Hola familia!como estan?estoy muy bein, yo dormí muy bueno anoche :) gracias por eso! (i slept wonderful last night, thanks for that! 'the pillow') ug, the keys on this keyboard stick, making it somewhat difficult to type and i only havelimited time, i might switch computers.so this last week has been pretty awesome. learning tons as usually, getting better at teaching in spanish, (although the investigators get harder as we get better, which can be quite frustrating.) yesteday my companion elder wright and i were teaching this guy Mario, and we were getting to the part about following the example of Christ and being baptised, when he dropped the bombshell on us, saying that it was difficult to believe in God because of all the bad things in the world, giving examples of when he was a child and had no food. (if we understood correctly) that question is difficult in and of itself to answer, but in spanish we were completely destroyed, it was pretty frustrating. but it taight us about how to answer those kinds of questions, and be more flexible in our lessons. we have him again tomorrow, hopefully we can answer his questions then :) we also are teaching about three or more investigators, which is a bit stressful becuase you have to plan it all in spanish beforehand if you want to stand a chance of teaching with the spirit, but it has been awesome nontheless!
we finally got a new district in my zone, we are finally no longer the new people, after half of our time here haha. also, i dont know if i have mentioned this before, but there is this elder in my district named Elder ####, this elder's sense of humor and many personality traits are almost an exactly similar to Brandon's, it is so hilarious, but also kind of freaky when we are in the cafetaria and i almost feel like i am talking to brandon, but yeah its just crazy. anopther funnything about my district, even though we are all from different parts of the county, almost everyone has found a connection through a mutual friend to the other elders, it is pretty funny.
that leads into another funny story, guess who i met a couple of days ago, although i didnt know who it was until after... one of the daughters in the movie the other side of heaven, except the real one. she was super cool, although she thought that we thought she was spanish because we introduced ourselfs in spanish, but it was just habit on our part.
also, so i am pretty excited about this saturday, that is when the new mission presidents come in! so chances are we will see a couple apostles just walking the hallways and stuff, no big deal. i also get to usher at the mission president devotional, so i get front row seats with a 100% chance of an apostle, but you know no biggy or anything :). lastly, i am not sure, but i may get to meet the new mission president, (if there is one, i am not sure,) on saturday...
one last story, yesterday this Hermana in our district had to leave cause of sergury, it was pretty sad, but normally we sing to leaving missionaries, but she didnt think we were going to sing to her cause she was leaving halfway through the day. little did she know, we all walked inot the class and sung to her before she left. we sing to leaving missionaries two songs, ¨placentero nos es trabajar¨ ( a spanish hymn about hard work and becoming more like Christ, at least from what i can understand when i sing it) and we sing " para siempre Dios este con vos" which is God be with you till we meet again. anyway, it was super spiritual, evertime i sing that i get a little bit emotional even though we hear it almost everyday in the MTC in a ton of different languages.
OH my goodness, john, all on his own at BYU?! crazy!!! Maybe if you go do baptisms for the dead on a certain time and day of the week that i wont mention we may run into eachother :) haha i seriously have to resist the urge to give a hint, but if you want to, you could go do LOTs of baptisms for the dead, and then we just might run into eachother!!! :) still, that is awesome that you are at byu, have fun (but not to much), study hard, and progress lots!que más... to the friend who has asked that i verify if i get your dear elder's, i do, :) i just was waiting for a home address instead of a byu, so i knew you would get the letter instead of it getting lost... also, Tristen, if you read this, tell diego and nick to write me back, i am still waiting on them :Panyway, i am completely out of time, and about to go negative, so yo amo todo ustedes! (i love you all) and talk to yall next week!!
